One Way was incorporated in 1993 by Philip and Carolann Mahoney in Lyons, Colorado. Business began with one small side load trash truck serving 180 customers. The business plan was to service the mountains West of the City of Boulder. We have grown to over 5,000 customers. We now provide service in Boulder County, Gilpin County, Jefferson County, Larimer County and Weld County.

One Way, Inc. is family-owned and operated right here in Lyons, Colorado. Our business is built on a foundation of honesty and reliability. We believe that doing the right thing is more important than the bottom line. Our principles allow us to build strong, lasting relationships with our customers.

Rather than offer another mass production curb-side service, we focus on the personal needs of our customers. Our service providers understand the importance of quality service. We personally handle your containers with care and take the time to ensure that empty containers are not scatted or blown over after collection. In may urban areas we return the container up your drive so you come home to a clean neighborhood that is clear of waste receptacles. If we aren’t providing service to accommodate your needs, we are happy to make the appropriate adjustments. We have built our reputation by listening to our customers and providing excellent service.

We don’t hold contracts with our customers. We believe that continued business is earned, not promised. Instead of luring new business in with low rates only to raise them a few months down the line, we offer rates that are sustainable without planned increases. We absorb the rising cost of hauling until we absolutely have to raise our customers rates.
